Service Centre Manager Opportunities
There is nowhere quite like our Service Centres – they are hives of activity where we sort, scan and load the parcels we deliver right across the region, every week. Trailers arrive, parcels are unloaded, and then they’re all sorted in the most efficient way possible for Drivers to collect and deliver to the final customer.
As a Service Centre Manager, you’ll inspire from the top, whilst nurturing the friendly, can do environment we’re so proud of. The Role
As Service Centre Manager, you’ll set standards, own P&L, control budgets, monitor resources, manage both employed and self-employed colleagues, and ensure we’re on target. It’s the ideal challenge for a leader to take the reins of a high tech, high pressure operation.
Personality
There’s a softer side too. We want a people person who can recruit, train, manage and motivate a large team through big changes. It’ll be very fast paced, and if you’ve the passion and gravitas to get the most out of everyone, just as rewarding.
Skills & Experience
Able to think on your feet, you’ll need experience of KPI monitoring and managing employed and self-employed teams in a similar senior role. You’ll also have an IOSH certificate and knowledge of health and safety policies.
