Team Manager Opportunities
Collecting parcels from client sites, transporting them to our three Transport hubs and distributing out again to our smaller network of Service Centres is a complex operation. That means it’s essential that everything goes according to plan – and budget – every single day.
As a Team Manager for a single hub, you’ll be right at the forefront of our efforts to deliver promises. At any one time, we have a huge number of vehicles out on the road so, we need someone to oversee all of that – to make sure our HGV Drivers are fully briefed, answer any queries and help resolve any issues quickly.
Whilst we always look for Team Managers who are happy to jump in at the deep end, we’re also a business that will support you – and we’ll provide the support you need to be the very best that you can be.
The Role
As the first point of contact for our Transport team, your high profile role will focus on making sure parcels move around the country exactly as they’re intended to. That means seamless working across both our Sort and Transport teams.
Skills & Experience
As a Team Manager, you’ll need working knowledge of transport operations, transport management systems and of Drivers’ hours and working time regulations. We can brief you on our specifics, but we’ll expect you to learn fast.
Passion & Personality
Being the best Team Manager takes great communication and relationship building skills. You’ll also need to work to very high standards and understand that hitting targets and exceeding service levels is key to success.
