It’s no exaggeration that our Fleet team is essential to our whole operation. Our state-of-the-art fleet includes vans, tractor units, rigid units and trailers – and it’s the Fleet team that keeps them safe, efficient, compliant and well maintained. The team pinpoint what is needed on a daily basis, evaluate every vehicle, keep a close eye on costs and spot where we could do things better.
Join them, and as you quickly get up to speed, you’ll be based in Liverpool but also travel around our national sites. Getting to grips with the operational side of Yodel first hand will be a core focus initially. Then, as you support our ability to deliver promises the best way you can, you’ll soon be putting your own stamp on things and seeing just how effective your innovative ideas can be.
Our Fleet team handle everything from arranging vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance, managing vehicle rentals, fines administration and vehicle queries across our business.
No two days are the same here in our Fleet team. There are always vehicles to assess, people to help and new ideas to turn into reality. There will be no such thing as a dull moment.
Skills & Experience
You’ll need a strong customer service focus and a great team ethic. Ideally you’ll bring some industry experience and knowledge of transport legislation too, and be well-organised, a strong communicator and able to analyse data.
