Operational Planning Opportunities
Our Operational Planning team help to raise our service levels and efficiency, whilst reducing costs for clients, in three main areas:
Business Control Tower
Our new, cutting-edge Business Control Tower enables better planning, monitoring and communications. With a 24/7 real-time view of our entire network, we can respond to any changes, analyse insights, spot trends, track vehicles and ultimately, improve our service.
Transport & Network Planning
With our trailers travelling the length of the UK, we need to ensure each mile is cost efficient and well planned. Our Transport Planners and Network Analysts help to plan and roll out thousands of schedules a week, to make sure every parcel’s on time – across the country.
Network Strategy
In our newest function, we use state-of-the-art network modelling software LLamasoft to make each delivery even better. As a Network Design Analyst, Network Designer or other specialist, you’ll help to develop various models and simulations, as well as your potential.

Location
Based in Hatfield (Business Control Tower and Network Strategy) or Wednesbury (Network Planning), you’ll enjoy autonomy and exposure to leading technologies. It’s a team in which everyone can contribute, and new ideas are listened to.
Your Background
To join us in Operational Planning, you’ll ideally need a background in supply chain, logistics or retail. Experience in network design and modelling and supply chain optimisation software’s is also beneficial, but not a must.
Skills & Experience
An analytical mind, eye for detail and ability to clearly present complex information will be vital. We also look for a head for numbers, the confidence to engage with stakeholders and creative problem solvers.
